introduction

Hi there, my name's Chris and one day I thought it would be a really good idea to create a website pretty much about me. So here it is!

I don't really know where to start so I might just ramble for a little while:

A bit of background then - born in 1981 (in Penrith) - shortly moved to the flats of East Anglia before the temptation of the north was too much for my parents. We lived in the Rossendale Valley for a year and then moved to Carnforth in Northern Lancashire.

I work at Lancaster University based within the Engineering Dept whilst also doing work for Research & Enterprise Services. I am employed as a Projects Co-ordinator, and work in a business-support environment, with funding from various sources, mainly the EU.

I'm quite a friendly person with a few hobbies. I've been in the Air Training Corps (ATC) or 'Air Cadets' for a good while and thoroughly enjoy it.

I also love walking up hills and down hills and over hills and pretty much love hills.

I've been getting a bit more into running recently and quite like it - been on a few road races throughout 2006, with hopefully more to follow.

Skiing is just pure awesome too!

I also enjoy listening to music such as indie and soft rock.

Well, if you got this far - well done - but don't stop - have a look around this site some more. Return to the Homepage or if you have a comment, e-mail me. By the way - if you're going to mail me about my poor sense of humour - fine, but know this: this is my site and I'm entitled to demonstrate a poor sense of humour if I want!
